So, why is it nearly all the beautiful footwear out there tends to cause us so much grief?!

You know that one pair of shoes in your wardrobe. The pair you could trust with your life.
If this reliable pair of shoes was a person, it would tell you when your eyebrows were a little too dark or that you had something stuck in your teeth. You know the ones I mean? Let’s call them the ‘old faithfuls’…
We latch on to these go-to pairs of shoes. We’ll end up wearing nothing else all summer and too damn right! We’ve been betrayed before. Hurt by deceitful shoes… The ones that look SO pretty but the toe-post kills or the straps shred your feet to bits.
The ‘old faithfuls’ are the dream pair of shoes you can wear without sporting big cuts all over your feet or pre-warning your feet with plasters (we’ve all been there, no shame).

Thankfully, I own some of the loveliest, comfy summer shoes. They’re all perfect for this glorious season and they’re quite simply fab, comfy summer shoes that you’ll often find me sporting with both my work outfits and chilled weekend-wear (totally a word btw).

If you’ve spotted my Instagram feed before, you’ll know I tend to go for monochromatic colour combinations. I have a few pairs which combine that with a simplistic pattern for my timeless classic gal days. Rest assured that I also have a haul of fancy-pants, embellished sandals and shoes with pop of colours for when I’m feeling particularly adventurous or if my outfit is calling for jazzy shoes.
